I have decided that this is the most important question in my life. If I am in a given situation and can not give a definitive answer to it, I know that it is time to re-evaluate my life plans. Let me explain:

A few years ago I was half way through college, trying to figure out what I was going to major in and felt very confused. One day I asked my self this question "Why am I majoring in communications?" I quickly found out that my answer was one that did not settle right with me. Thus I went about changing my life around.

I have seen the importance of this question in almost everything I do in life. Why am I going to college? Why do I choose to go running? Sometimes it takes a lot of courage to answer this question truthfully. (Why am I acting this way towards someone I love? Why am I so scared to try fill in the blank?)

So here is my challenge to you.....start asking why and then find your honest answer. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it.

  1. That's such a good insight. I will definitely start implementing that in my life. You are an amazing woman who is ambitious and passionate about life. I'm sure these "why" questions have added to that. Thanks for the challenge.
