And Your Parents Said There Was No Such Thing

I am here to tell you that there is such a thing as a money tree! ....It just does not grow money. But they are quite a wonderful bonsai plant. Since working in the plant shop on campus I have wanted to buy a tree for our house. My goal was to get a smaller one that we can eventually plant when we get a house...someday.

So here it is. My little bonsai. It is like that because it is actually five trunks braided into one. Apparently each of the trunks represents one aspect of Feng Shui (Earth, wind, water, fire and metal) It is supposed to bring prosperity and wealth to the owner. I don't know about that but I think it is a beautiful plant. The best part is I can start my own money trees with it! All around a great deal for only 12 dollars!
