Graduation

Soon, in less than three weeks, I will be graduating. And to be completely honest with you I cant quite wrap my mind around it. I have been in school since I was five....that is when kidnergarden starts right? Anyway, the point is that school is what I know and now, well now I have ventured out into the world. Here is the moment of truth, time to prove my self.

............

And yet this graduation seems to be very freeing. I have never been very good at school. I am a slow learner at times and certain subjects can be difficult for me to grasp quickly. Now that I am on the threshold of graduation I do not intend to stop learning. No by no means will I do that. Instead I will learn the things I wish to learn and at my own pace. I now have the freedom to devote my study time to subjects of my own choice without getting graded. I am excited to see what more I can learn and how it can enrich my life.

All of this said I am grateful for those who took the time to teach me. I am particularly grateful for those who had the patience to explain many subjects over and over until I grasped them. Thank you for altering my life in ways that you may never know.

  1. I hear you on being grateful for teacher's who explained subjects to you. My first year at BYU-I, I think I was in my physic professor's office everyday to get help. I think he gave me a good grade simply because he saw that I was REALLY trying. Congrats! Being out of school is SO weird at first and it is fun to learn what you want. It gets harder when kids come so get in teh habit early :)
